Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Clocking up the hours at a fair ol' rate recently...any chance of a return to normality* for you after the second AZ ?
Normality is but a dream, we had colleagues double vaccinated last December as they were in a different location, nothing has changed so far.

Blue skies, gotta go for a little walk in a 40 degree C day. Wish me luck.

    40 degrees  no thanks!!

Sunrising here, cool morning, cut my hair yesterday so wooly hat required :pac:

It’s dry air so actually a pleasant walk :)

That’s my 2nd vaccination done, Pfizer this time. This is all automated, logon to an APP, see if you are eligible for a vaccine ( now 6 weeks since my first) I made the appointment for 3 hours after I logged in. Went to the center, showed the same APP which has all my residence details, sat for 5 minutes, got the vaccine, sat for another 15 minutes and out with instructions to take Panadol extra every six hours. Whole thing, from hotel to hotel again, 35 minutes. Now let’s see if the impact of the 2nd dose is worse than the first.

@ Kowloon, that cat has the right idea. I did a good impression of him/her myself earlier too. Just lying there on the grass staring up at the sky thinking this isn't too shabby.
Then of course I remembered that I was supposed to be watching the Liverpool match so I ran inside, frantically trying to get the TV channel for it and saw it's 1-0 to Liverpool with 50 seconds left to play so I thought ah nice one, great I'll just watch the last 50 seconds and head back out all happy with the result anyway.
Of course no sooner had I turned it on than they conceded an equaliser and drew the match so I trundled back outside in a worse mood.
Next time I'll just stay put in the garden and let the football p!ss off

Had a good 5 or 6km walk to...and around this...and in the last 20M...I fell off the walkway and fecked my ankle ligaments.. currently icing my ankle on the couch :D

I knew I was right to refuse to get up on that walkway when I was there. Needs handrails, so it does. Did you land in the lake?

No the other side...my right leg slipped off....I somehow spun in the air and was facing the way I came when I landed..left leg made a few cracking sounds... ligaments are buggered I'd say... will take myself off to a&e Tomo I think when the swelling eases

Myself and Alfie decided to head to the river today, going to go to the woods now as it’s cooler, he had to have an ice cream (not a full one just a lick or 3)

Hope your ankle heals quickly so you can enjoy the rest of this beautiful weather :)

Nasty! Keep the leg up and if you're not going to a&e tonight, raise it on pillows in bed tonight. Sounds like you could do with an x ray.

Mrs G gone to bed after a few scoops of wine and a great Indian meal. :D At the kitchen table but fook it, second covid anniversary like so many others.

Ms G did a crakin job on the shed today. Paid her and grabbed her a lovely pizza from a local Italian place. I'm happy out here on my last bottle in the knowledge that there is some more madras and rice left. Be a shame not to.:D

I only miss a Wednesday night and Sunday evening beer in a pub. Mrs G misses the random, lets go have one. But through no fault of our own, we have reinvented having a night out and its great. We are early door creatures anyway so banging it out to a **** band in a bar on a late Saturday night wouldn't interest us. But I'm sure some miss it.

Loved those 'ah sure we go for one' whether it be after a match or after work it was a great feeling

lets hope those times return sooner rather than later. The CMO (cough cough the real leader) is anti alcohol so god knows when
