    Chilling in the hotel bedroom with my iPad and a good book.

    Had a lovely day in Amsterdam today, met a friend who lives there for late lunch after my OH and I went to a special exhibition at the Rijksmuseum. Afterwards took a canal boat tour of the city, as I always love to do.💕

    Heading back tomorrow evening. The week has flown.

    Hello everyone. Haven't posted in a long time 'cos I haven't been feeling it TBH . Grumpy is finally going into hospital for his hernia repair tomorrow (well, today really). Just finished packing his hospital bag and feel sick with nerves because he is so high risk for surgery. I have to wake him up at 6am to give him his meds and a drink of water, poor man. Admission at 8am. Don't think I'll sleep tonight.

    wasn't feeling it much myself lately, but today I'm bringing the Mammy to a posh hotel for couple of nights, so time to forget everything else, until Friday!

    Thanks for all the well wishes, guys. Much appreciated. We're on the day ward now. He's seen the surgeon and anaethetist , waiting on the incredibly busy nurse to finish admitting him. He's second on the list and the first patient has already gone down, so soon now. ..


    Grem, hope your Dad is ok.
