Hotel bed, feeling a lot better since the emergency doctor came and administered a shot to stop the puking. Still feeling very delicate though...it was tea and toast for din dins this evening and just going to take it super easy. Being very close to a bathroom is of paramount importance...

My OH has been an absolute star in all this. 💕🥰 He’s nodded off in the bed beside me. We were watching Casino Royale in the TV. A well deserved snooze!

We were out for a quick forty minute walk at 8.00 this evening, couldn't see in front of us with fog, lucky enough we brought the strong torch

I'm just heading home from a comforting night. Myself and husband, his mam and dad and extended family. A balm for the soul being able to escape in their company.

Bedside in my hotel room, looking out over the River Shannon, feeling a lot better than last night. Had a great sleep and being pampered by my OH. 🥰

I now think it may have been the Norovirus - the infamous Winter Vomiting virus - that I have/had. Scary news about the spread of the Omicron variant - at the rate of 10,000 infections a day it looks like nearly everyone in the country without a booster shot will be infected. Three of my mates have come down with Omicron in the past 24 hours. 😟

Otherwise, all good and all going well, we will head out on a spin later.

That was strange, walked into a shttshow at work.. Very confusing indeed.. Anyway slowly getting things in hand, at least the alarms have stopped going off.

I just went out the back and walked on a massive snail.🤮 Where do they come from at night ,there's a few of them out there, I actually feel bad about it but it felt weird and slippery, yuck.
