Wandered around the old part of this city, they have finally realised that old is beautiful and are in the process of renovating it

@smurfjed Beautiful photos. Glad they are cherishing what they have….

Sofaside having a cool drink after a stressful shopping trip. One person off their head on God knows what caused chaos and mayhem.. Glad to be home.

Just for the record, that wasn't me!

Cafeside here after a stressful but fruitless shopping trip to the city. Just a few more bits and bobs to get and then it'll be me and the sofa for the rest of the evening. I hope I'll be able to finish off that book I've been reading.

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

Bedside chilling with a book after a very long walk this afternoon in the Phoenix Park and Farmleigh with my best mate, caught up on things and got back in the door at 4pm just as the rain was starting. Very windy outside now.

Sister phoned me a little while ago and we both had a good catch up. 🥰💕

Taking it nice and easy for the rest of Sunday. Slight touch of the Glenroes - but not as bad as last Sunday.

Wife got her 5th vaccination today, so now she has had astrazeneca / 3x Pfizer and today Moderna. Totally extreme but required by different countries that don’t accept vaccinations from other countries.

for some reason, the cellular reception in the house has dramatically improved :):)

Haha no need for the tinfoil hat on your phone anymore @smurfjed ?? 😁

Deskside, feeling more thawed out. It's not even that cold, wtf?

Coffeehouse. Working offsite. Background music has me wanting to dance. Moves to tunes.

I don't see why you can't dance a little Fathom 😉 i do quite the bumshuffle in the office when a decent tune comes on

Now that would be a sight for sore eyes 😁

Tableside here, having just demolished an amazing salad (with a chicken wiener schnitzel as a side 😋)

Was back in the office today for the first time since November. Man, how I missed that... not even joking!

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

Chicken AND wiener schnitzel or?? Confuzzled here..

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,266 ✭✭✭thomil

Poorly phrased, I admit. It's just a wiener schnitzel made with chicken instead of veal, simply because it's easier to handle.

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

Ah ok, chicken and sausage (per se) didn't sound bad but wondered how they would stay together breaded and hammered 🤣 the tummy porn is strong with me, always 😋

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,266 ✭✭✭thomil

It could work, if you really hammered the chicken to within an inch of its life, rolled it around the sausage like a roulade and secured it with toothpicks before breading and frying. If you go that far however, you might as well to all the way and add a slice of Emmental between the sausage and the chicken to go for a "tubular" cordon bleu...Actually, come to think of it...🤔

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

Off the train and into the car. Grabbed a decent Singapore noodle dish on the way back to the fort. Another awful day in a dry box in Dublin. That's it until March. A beer and lie on tomorrow. Grub before it. Lunch was a nice experience in the big smoke. A hot beef baguette with spicy wedges. I'm watching the original Alien from 1979 AGAIN. What an epic. A really nice Monday night!

@Grandeeod lands in with some more fine tummy porn, never had a hot beef roll, would love to try one. Glad you survived the big smoke.

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,424 ✭✭✭✭kowloon

Saw the remastered version a while back, still looks amazing. A lot of remastered films from that era and even later end up looking cheap. Alien just looks unique.
