I think the new site in the mobile is not user friendly, I mainly use it on my phone, I tend to just leave the site on this page and then when I revisit it tells me if there’s any new posts.

Most people I have seen posting are dissatisfied with the new site, myself included. I find it very frustrating and as a result am not clicking in as often. This is my favourite thread and I'd hate to lose the connection but right now, it doesn't feel familiar anymore.

Yep, the community is in danger of dismantling and drifting away if the site stays as is.

I can't see boards being happy with how the site is now running...and even with the promised upgrades....I cant see there being much of an improvement... The "hold tough, it'll get better" brigade have gotten less vociferous as I believe even they see it's a complete mess.

I live in hope more than expectation as they say

That's what's most concerning to me to be honest, the general shift in tone and seeming isolation in here over the last couple of days. Normally, you could always count on the Wherer's thread for some assorted madness, innuendo, shenanigans and other stuff at almost all times of the day. That seems to have fallen off completely, which is a bit disquieting to me.

That being said, the weather certainly has had an effect on many people and is likely keeping them away from here as well. Hell, I'd be on boards a lot less in this kind of heat if I actually had a social life... 😶

Mater Private hospital, waiting room, had my bloods done and awaiting my CT angiogram at 1.30pm. Lovely aircon in here.

This is a routine test - had it done 5 years ago (when my drinking was still very very bad) and surprisingly all was well. Hoping for a similar result today.

My two older sisters and I get these tests because of a poor family history of heart disease - my dear late mum died of a sudden, no-warning massive heart attack when she was the age I am now (46) - and two short years later my dad had to have a triple bypass, aged 51.

Wish me luck!!

@bubbly - very sorry to hear about both your dad and your dear dog, Alfie. Sending cyber hugs and make sure you have time to grieve in your own way.

In a castle, well it's a bouncy castle but it's in the shade and there's a light breeze , actually very comfortable. Maybe abit too comfortable, took eyes off the kids, they were quite playing with the sandpit (one of those table thingies)....clue#1 something is not right.......they've transferred all the water from the water side into the sand side....... beyond caring at this stage.... they're quiet

Speaking of Pampas, I got home about an hour ago, threw my tired body on the couch and tried to find something to watch on the telly, bejaysus but I'm watching a subtitled Walter Presents series and I hope no one looks in the window, steamy !!!

I'm meant to be heading out for dinner shortly, praying that someone will back out and it's cancelled but it's looking unlikely now, ffs I can't face another shower but I can't go out without one, it's absolutely gorgeous and I'm not complaining because I'll probably be cold next week but I'm melting here in the shade.
