    so mid house move, I lost my iPod classic - apparently they're retro now but I've been using mine solid for the last 10+ years - my brother gave me his old one years ago and I can't seem to reset it - it's telling me it's corrupt and I've done the usual factory re-set, etc.

    so I've 3 questions:
    1. can anyone advise as to how I can get the brother's one to kick in;
    2. can anyone recommend a standalone mp3 player that can sync with iTunes;
    3. where the hell did I leave the other one - I swear I had it yesterday :-(
