CNN is the most trusted name in news I will have you know.

Very odd watching CNN's portrayal of the incident this morning with their repeated showing of the last Capitol Hill incident, constantly showing Trump flags, as if it was the reason for this Nation of Islam attack.

After hearing the sequence of events of the man ramming a barrier, tried to run down police officers with his car, and then getting out of the car with a knife and stabbing and murdering an armed white policeman, the question has to be asked on whether the police officers held back from firing on the knife-wielding man because of previous incidents with black men. With the ongoing high profile trial of a former police officer and the constant threat of BLM protests/riots, did the police make a mistake by not following protocol and shooting the armed and obviously dangerous man due to his race? Did a police officer lose his life because of this? American society really need an honest debate on the issue.

No, it only uses Islam as a very vague starting point and then goes off on a mad tangent. White people were invented by an evil scientist to torment black people, god is going to return on a spaceship, that kind of thing. Not too fond of jews or gays so there's that.

It's a desperate "news" network, absolutely desperate.

Choosing to end your days in a Nissan Altima makes you look like an arsehole.

And he couldn't even get himself a gun in the easiest country in the world to get a gun.

In 5 days this thread didn't even see 40 posts..
That's what you get sometimes when a person that doesn't fit the narrative tries and manages to kill a cop in the US Capitol.

The cop was Billy Evans, a father of two, grew up in North Adams, Massachusetts a close-knit town of about 13,000 in the northwest part of the state.

Lawmakers issued a wave of statements offering their condolences and gratitude to Evans after the attack. Capitol Hill aides and members of the press corps that cover Capitol Hill also weighed in, recalling him as friendly and professional.

Jason LaForest knew Evans for more than 30 years and said Evans never wanted to be known as a hero.

“He wanted to serve his country as a Capitol police officer and looked forward to seeing lawmakers and visitors who came to the Capitol every day, many of whom became friends of Billy’s in large part because of his good-natured sense of humor,” LaForest said. "And, unfortunately, Billy paid the ultimate price defending his country.”

    RIP.

What you have to understand is that the posters on here who are so animated about US politics, like the current police trial, receive all their cues from mainstream US media. They basically regurgitate whatever CNN put forward. Black extremist attacks Capitol and stabs cop to death is filed under white supremacy and they move onto the next white supremecy headline. Like voting ID laws that have existed in Ireland for my entire life without anyone batting an eyelind

It's a bit like watching a shoal of guppies. :)
