    Brilliant shot from Rosey

I cannot fathom how bad that is from Thomas. I have a large enough each way bet on him.
No way he can come back from that. Should have been a 4 and took an 8. Game over.

Xander lucky the hole was in the way there.

Great few minutes there. Schauffele eagle, Rose birdie, Matsuyama eagle.

Isn't that generally the case though?

Matsuyama is striping it but I'm not sure I'd trust his putting stroke on the back 9 tomorrow

The rain has helped the late starters, greens obviously softened a tad

He isn't putting too badly now, delighted for the sky commentary team, they had Rose's name on the trophy earlier on.

Matsuyama and s going to have a huge lead by the looks of things unless somebody gets a lot of birdies.

Would matsayama be the first to win best amateur and a green jacket?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,714 ✭✭✭4Ad

What a chip by Matsuyama !!

Hard to sleep on a lead

I want the Japanese guy to win, or the skinny guy, or Justin Rose. Just not Jordan Spieth.

Very true, but a fairly commanding lead unless Rose picks a few up now

Woods and Nicklaus both did it as far as I know, not sure if any mere mortals ever have

Shocker by Rose on 15, that approach wasn't even close to decent

    Pressure getting to rose

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,359 ✭✭✭✭lawred2

Urm did Beem not realise that Rose went into the bunker there?

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,760 ✭✭✭Deeper Blue

Didn't Rose go in the bunker there? I was sure he did

No there's been many, I know Nicklaus, Mickelson, Woods and Garcia have done it.

Why are the greens a bit funky looking this year?

  • Registered Users Posts: 80 ✭✭mooz

    Rose coming under serious pressure

  • Registered Users Posts: 45 Jimbee

    -10 winning score

  • Registered Users Posts: 384 ✭✭rooney30

Not really feeling that leaderboard for tommorrow
. Hideki and Rose don’t exactly set the pulses racing

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,972 ✭✭✭Degag

Rose kinda losing his cool slightly which is a bit surprising.

Rose has been dreadful since the birdie on 12, he's done well not to drop 3 or 4 shots
