What's the weakest transponder on Astra 28.2

    Hi,

    Need to retune a dish and cant find an up to date answer for what is the weakest transponder on Astra 28.2 please? Even the station will do and Ill look up the transponder

    65 cm dish minimum is shown on the footprints for the Europe beam.

    The one which is reported here most often as giving trouble is 11082 H 22000, which has CNN SD.

    With a 1.1 dish, weaker or stronger wont come into the equation. And it depends on lnb and cabling and receiver. With a 1.1 and black ultra with enigma 2 boxes I'm in the top 90@s and even 100 but that can depend on image as well. If you get over 90 you are good to go.

    Hope your doing well.

    I've been away and just back recently and the LNB was cracked so had to replace it and I'm only getting I think 70 signal strength so thought it is to do with the angle of the LNB.

    Pole, motor and dish seem as sturdy as possible and don't look like they have moved a mm.

    Yes Enigma 2 box and Ultra LNB but old image as box not supported anymore - openvix-3.2.037.

    Think Im using Vhannabil Motor and Autobouquet E2 and and Local Area Selection to London HD. But for some reason plugins dont seem to update, perhaps cause of the old image.

    Tuner set-up as follows:

    Configuration mode: Simple
    Mode: Positioner
    Longitude: 006.40 West
    Latitude: 53.39 North
    Extra Motor Options: No

    So everything is rightish I think but still a weak signal.

    any trees? And what's the box? And have you tuned the lnb? That is a very old image. Yeah plugins are image DATE dependent. I have more than one box and image!! Using a vu + duo2 with latest vix. I get 100% on quite a few channels. Did you re-do the cable?

    Welcome back. Are you back for a while?

    I'm isolating but OK.
