Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,
Has anyone got a garage made that wasn't the mad money like steel tech?
Im looking at a 30x20 and 8ft to the eves? Steeltech works out at 10k which is madness.

Depends what quality you're looking for, I suppose. A pressure-treated shiplap style wooden shed will come in cheaper, I'm sure, but may not be as long-lasting.

I have a 16x12 (6.5ft-ish at eaves) and I paid about 2.5k. It's never really been abused, although we did hire a crane to move it once, albeit only a few feet up the garden, and it's as good as the day it landed in the garden (it's about 5 years old).

Does the planning permission not dictate what finish is required?
