    Cast Iron Shore is an area in South Liverpool along the Mersey.
    I love Glass Onion. It's one of my favourites from the white album. Love Ringo's drumming on it and how he kind of resets the song at every verse. The whole weird swirling Alice in Wonderland vibe, all the self referential stuff, John's abstract lyrics, how the song builds to a scream. I'd heard all the mainstream stuff off the white album before I got to actually listen to it properly, so when I got to discover glass onion for the first time it was an absolute delight .

    This is going to be a tough competition if those first two sets are anything to go by. Not a bad song there. Haven’t looked at the votes so far but expect they’re tight. Not a lot between some of those matches for me and will have no complaints on any result.

    Eleanor Rigby - just a richer and deeper song of the two
    Nowhere Man
    I Feel Fine - GDS is fairly one note really in comparison.

    While I'd agree that Blackbird is a far more mature and musically proficient song, I Want to Hold Your Hand is a classic mop-top era song that encapsulates the fun and excitement of the time. Blackbird, on the other hand is, let's face it, a bit dull.
