The thrown 'handpass' is also being ignored for now.
Cork's first goal last week a perfect example and the final pass for their second goal looked very suspect too.

True, John Kiely said as much after his embarrassing outburst.

Mannion did well to stay on his feet after that nasty belt in to the windpipe, fair play to him. Most would have gone down.

I don't think either side needs anything out of it in terms of a result.

Conor Cooney should have been gone in the first half.
Has gave three needless frees away for two scores.
Hit some awful wides and has mostly had a negative impact in every possession hes had.

Galway have 4 points after 2 games. Tipperary have 2 points after 2 games.

Galway made 9 changes to the team that beat Limerick which probably tells you how important a result is to them.

I wouldn't have necessarily said that either team needs the win more than the other but a Tipperary win is probably expected all things considered.

I don't think the league is a priority for either team, its not a priority for anyone this year the way it has worked out, would be madness to go all out or even close to it.

Mannion gave Barrett a dig with the bas of the hurl, commentators confirmed it there with someone on the line.

Jesus, the game of hurling has changed so much in the past 5 years. And not for the better. Cynical fouling everywhere.

Don't know how they left him on for so long. He turned his back on some puckouts which went directly to his man.

He went down soft the two players were to blame Barret is expert at it , one of the umpires said to the ref he saw nothing.

At least they can play next week.
