Travel restrictions

    "While Ireland is at Level 5, you should not leave your relevant travel area unless you have a reasonable excuse. Your relevant travel area is within your county or 20 km from your home."

    Is there a fine associated with travelling outside the travel area? Or was this set aside with the end of the 5km rule, had a bit of a Google but can't find a definite answer.

    It seems that the lockdown levels have been completely abandoned. By the description of the levels we are closer to level 4 than level 5 now but because it is not officially level 4 a lot of government services like passports are still closed. It's very hard to know what the travel restrictions are right now.
