"Russell on his way over to make sure Bottas is ok."

    Umm, no Crofty. No.

Russell steaming off and Bottas looked like he was going to go for him.

Don't know what Russell's issue is, he slapped into Bottas after catching the grass it looked like

    Russell's fault no?

I'm more than happy to criticise Bottas but that looked Russell's fault to me.

That has got the blood pressure up!.

Loved the “Russell is going over to see if he’s ok” there. Definitely painting a picture that wasn’t there.

Somehow, somehow Hamilton will be fine because of the safety car. Always happens.

    Redflag,

Radio will come out soon something along the lines of "Valteri and George we are going to need you to help Lewis out here"

Red flag. No surprise as there’s debris all over the track.

Russels car came right up into Botas' cockpit there

    Yup, red flag

Bottas a bit winded. Russell did go over to see if he was ok (I think). Did the elbow bump to each other.

  • Registered Users Posts: 621 ✭✭✭weekaizer

    Correct decision, debris everywhere.

Just in time for a cup on tea.

So, Russell is binned it from the points at Imola twice in the space of 6 months. I can't wait until Latifi scores before he does.

    Hamilton is absolutely blessed there.

What is his track position now?

Heard Brundle saying he is a lap down.

Jeez the track is in an absolute state . Will be a good delay here.

Wtf is Russell giving out about? He hit the grass and took out Bottas.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,283 ✭✭✭✭MadYaker

Even where he went off was so lucky, he just missed a bit of the barrier that sticks out which would have totalled his car

    Actually he slapped his helmet.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,139 ✭✭✭✭Busi_Girl08

Ham is a lap down too. But very lucky to still be in it.

I've no idea what happened there, but I can say with absolute certainty that it was George Russell's fault.

    Actually he slapped his helmet.

and Bottas gives him the middle finger.

Looking at that again, I think Bottas has moved over while Russell's alongside.

Would like to see Bottas' angle again.

Good crash that. That’s what we tune in for. A bit of excitement. Love it.

Yeah, no. This is the track that ended Ratzenberger and Senna.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 717 ✭✭✭ricimaki

Was that a middle finger from Bottas?

Hamilton 9th, lap down. Gonna guess the rules will allow him to get his lap back and he'll end up back on the podium.

Is that Bottas sitting there realising he has no business blocking a seat at Mercedes? If only.

So strange seeing a crashed Mercedes!

Russel went on the grass and lost it, his car lifted up and shunted the wheel right into the halo on Bottas' car. Nasty, and Russell's fault.

A lot of these drivers just cant handle the old tracks. Shows them up really to drivers of the past.

Think so or else sky are assuming he did so getting ahead of any issue.

Was it Mugello were they sent the lapped cars out to run Round to unlap themselves ...

  • Registered Users Posts: 515 ✭✭✭Lawlesz

That was remincisent of Mika hiding in the trees after crashing out, was that at Monza?

Could the case be made that Bottas moved across and Russell moved to avoid and caught the grass?

In fairness to both George and Valterri they've been driving around full of adrenaline. They're both going to react in that way regardless who they feel is at fault.

What position would he be in if her were able to catch up on that lap?

Finger started to rise before Russell slapped his helmet and continued to rise when Russell was moving away. Dunno what Russell said to him first though.

Bottas definitely moves over there lads. That view from Kimi is clear is day.

Did I hear Bottas saying "Wa*ker"?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,139 ✭✭✭✭Busi_Girl08

Wonder how Russell is feeling after seeing the footage?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,990 ✭✭✭Cool_CM

Lawrence Stroll looks like he's filming The Santa Clause 4 with that beard

One thing’s for sure, may the Bottas/Russell DTS storyline begin.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,394 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

That view from Kimi is interesting. It seems there’s a very slight move from bottas but given the speeds they are going it magnifies it all.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,762 ✭✭✭✭Inquitus

Whooopsie, gotta blame Bottas for that one I think, not good.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,516 ✭✭✭recyclebin

Looks more like Russell lost it.

  • Site Banned Posts: 12,341 ✭✭✭✭Faugheen

The two cars are fairly wrecked all the same.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,271 ✭✭✭Thrashssacre

Are they really trying to blame Russel on Hamilton binning it himself 😂😂 jesus sky.

As a result of Bottas forcing him onto the grass.
