Back to 'illness' and Joe's special agony line. Real risk in campaigns like this of over medicalising what is just about a certainty for every woman - like death & taxes. When do we get to hear from women who manage to get past this stage in life without major drama?

I think they had to downsize and fire a load of people not so long ago.

When my grandparents separated it had been partly to do with my grandmother's menopause mood, according to my faaaader.

poor communication amongst medical professionals is very common

Isn't it really really lovely how Katie is staying quiet and is just letting the caller talk? No grunts or humms or whines or butt-in's or anything; it's a woman who is just telling her story. This is what Liveline can be like.

Coital headache is very much a thing... kind of related to migraine, and to do with sudden changes of blood flow to meninges similar to the same change in blood flow to genitals and breasts.
