Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Did Joe want to do a program like this? Is that his bugbear? Or just an opportunity for another dig at FG?

NK wants to have only presenter on his books doing these gigs

Duffy trying to defend his pals in RTE now having been agreeing with the others giving out about Enda Kenny.

This idea that some "artist" down on his or her luck would present it if Enda Kenny turned it down is nonsense.

It would have been Joe or Katherine Thomas or flippin Ray D'Arcy!

Its truly inexplicable to me that they didn't pick Mark to present this programme. Surely he has the perfect balance of charisma and charm for TV.

I wonder does Joe hear the Jaws theme in his head when callers start bringing up people being paid extortionate amounts by a state broadcaster.

No but he hears the squeak of the much overused cut off the caller button.

No wonder RTE went from losing €20m a year to actually making a profit cos of Covid.

No programmes being made, no sports events to send big crews to, no Eurovision and so on and loads of advertising from the State (and the Ray D'Arcy show)

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,195 ✭✭✭bottlebrush

Joe could have presented it given his knowledge of model railways

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,001 ✭✭✭✭Flukey

Daniel should not have been doing that B & B programme when he's already working servicing boilers.

You might get someone off the dole or the PUP payment to do it for you. You'd have to pay above the minimum wage.

Not that they have pretty much had RTÉ Sunday night entertainment slot for the past 20 years with one exception which was The All Ireland Talent Show.
