Most washers dont ingest chemicals but use the end of the lance for attachment for the chemicals to be mixed with the water when spraying.

Some have removable lance and bottle inserts there.

ah yes, I was thinking of one like this:

presume this one would ingest whatever is put in the plastic container

Possibly but would need to see it hooked up as it might be fed into a lance and not machine so as not to damage internals of machine.

What household stuff could be used in these detergent bottles. e.g. want to give the trampoline a blast of detergent and then wash, could I use liquid soap or washing up liquid mixed with water in the detergent bottle?

Only stuff i used was from the stores that sell pressure cleaners as household stuff might not cut it.
+ with so many different products for different uses.

When i had a Kew Hobby i had 6 different litre bottles for different products.

Thanks, for a trampoline, I guess I could get away with soap and water, other stuff might be too harsh etc (with kids all over it etc)

    What do ye reckon?

Try and get some sort of pressure water detergent. Most other stuff may foam up too much. It a bit like throwing washing up liquid in a washing machine

Thanks, would ordinary hand soap work too?

I suppose my real question is will any of them damage the pressure washer if its fed from a detergent bottle like this:

    https://ibb.co/9rBXDZK

i.e not attached directly to the lance/wand

Tbh I've used that stuff in mine and I don't notice any difference in the end result.

They shouldn't, biggest thing is at end of foaming stage disconnect dispenser from powerwasher and use washer with water only for 10 minutes to clear out any residue

Lidl had a Hozelock flow meter for €10 recently, I bought one on a whim but it's actually an excellent aid for pressure washing.
I use it on the end of the hose feeding the pressure washer and ensure the flow rate is up to scratch before running the machine.
I'd wasted plenty of time in the past due to attaching the hose to the tap poorly, kinked hoses etc, this identifies any such issues straight away and cuts it all out.

The other thing I'd say, as Bass has alluded to above, is that professional grade machines are a big time saver if you use it more than a few hours a year.
If you could share a better machine with a friend or relative perhaps, it would be money very well spent.
I upgraded to a machine that does 150 bar at over 600l/h and am sorry I didn't do it years ago.
It literally doubled the speed of work vs the old machine and is much quieter.

My final tip is that you can get high pressure extension hoses online very cheaply.
I got a 10m one for about 20 odd euro pre Brexit and while it's thin and may not last forever it means I never have to move the machine at all.
They generally have M22 fittings which will fit the vast majority of machines between the machine and your existing hose, other fittings are available also of course.
They don't have a big impact on output pressure or flow rate.

Looks ok and a long 10m hose and 5m cord giving you good coverage. + 3 year warranty.

Is it a pain with the integrated hose reel though?
Is the integrated detergent bottle a bit of a waste?

Less than €100, just buy it and be done with it. You’ve been looking for over a year and still haven’t purchased one, I have the smaller one and it’s fine so the bigger one can only be better.

Would imagine reel is only there for neat storage and unwound fully before using.

At some stage in life you want to use a bottle with detergents so you would need it and depending on make and models are placed in different positions.

You dont have to use it if the needs are not there.

Washing car yes you will need it to soften the dirt.

hmm ... last time all the stupid questions were asked it was claimed that one was bought but sold again when called out on it. I have a fair idea as to whats happening here.

Picked up one this morning in LIDL, plenty of stock left but also plenty of lads picking them up. It's a fair bit of kit for €100.

I managed to nab one this morning. Very happy with it so far. It's fairly powerful.

There's a piece with it called a Turbo Dirt Miller. Any idea what that does and where it connects to?

Possibly extra force for cleaning as i had a turbo lance with gave a figure 8 spray.

are you saying you put bleach and water in the detergent bottle, would this be bad for the pressure washer? i.e. the bleach

now that you mention this is likely what fliucked it but it did what i needed for about 3 years so all ok.

I got one of these new ones this morning and it looks pretty ok.
I am wondering how to turn nozzle into more direct point where water goes than spray.
This seems to spray more than i would like at the top of its power, i would prefer if i was able to make this less of a spray.
Its a plastic thing on the nozzle and i wonder what will happen if i interfere with as i may end up worse.

Does your knob rotate from jet to spray or pull out / push in /

Do people have lime in their water and might need a regular clean with vinegar.

Its new and works perfect, the problem is i want to send to the A-point of 2 storied house and because the nozzle has too much spray will not carry more than few feet from nozzle.
I just wanted to ask here before i break it as i do not know what will happen when i change or remove the plastic thing that creates the spray.

Post up a phot as it might be clearer and presume this is for water cleaning.

I tried to put up a picture here a couple of weeks ago and was told error.
I also offered to submit a clip today and was advised by mod to put it on Utube.
I do not understand why this is happening, it may be i am doing something wrong but i cannot supply the forum with the information it needs....

Have you twisted the tip of the lance, The Knob, L and R to adjust the spray?
