Did Nirvana never have a no. 1 here?
I was trying to check on the IRMA site but it's a load of pony.

Not many number ones anywhere; not here certainly.

I use wiki for most of my research, they have never topped the main charts here, UK, or the US with any song

I think No Scrubs has a good shot of winning this tournament.

    It's not like there's a lot of tough competition.:pac:

Gee whizz! I always thought Smells was a big chart topper

Maybe just the album sold well.

Looking back, I'm being a tad harsh. There are some other juggernauts in the running.

    Killing Me Softly
    Don't Look Back In Anger
    Don't Speak

    To mention some examples.

But then there's Barbie Girl , Sweetest Thing and The Saw Doctors' I Useta Lover too. How the last song got anywhere near No.1 I'll never know! :p

Sweetest Thing is a great song, fight me.

    The Sweetest Thing is neato.

Didn't Robson and Jerome keep Oasis's Wonderwall off number one? They're not in the thread. Controversy.:D

It's okay but not a threat to the likes of No Scrubs.:p

I was wondering if the Righteous Brothers song was meant to be the R & J version
I thought maybe the original charted again because of the potter's wheel scene in Ghost.

I thought R & J they had a number one with a Up on the roof/I believe split single that kept Oasis's Wonderwall from reaching the topspot. Maybe I'm wrong. I did a search and couldn't find it. I'm sure Kolido has it all under control. No matter, it's a shyte song. :D

Robson and Jerome got to No. 1 with Unchained Melody in the UK for sure, think they had a few No. 1s, was a big signing for Simon Cowell, popular from Soldier Soldier

Kind of surprised Blur had only one chart topper here and Madonna had none during the 90s
