Credit to Ole , many felt he should make changes and he persisted with the starting line-up. To be fair the team more often then not responds to setbacks and you have to give Ole some of the credit for it.

The only gripe I have at this stage is you can make 5 subs and he's only made the one. Roma are absolute ****e, and decimated by injury. He should be hauling Bruno, Cavani and 2 others off. The tie is over. Liverpool at the weekend is still a massive game. I don't understand his never ending reluctance to use the bench

Cavani seems sure to exit, but I'd be appalled if United with all its money and all its scouting staff cant find a striker able to score somewhere between 10-15 goals a season. We need a striker. It doesn't have to be Cavani.

How good is Shaw now... I think back to when he got that injury years ago and how reckless that tackle was and how good he was for a good period prior to that back then.

Regarding the subs rule, it's grand in general, don't think they envisaged 3 injuries in one half. Should get one more slot after half time tbf but the reasoning was intended to prevent ****ehousery of time wasting

Wonder what is said. I know they talked about Ole and the gang being quite calm and clear about what they have to do during the break but it’s hard to know how exactly he is with the players.

He has always had quality. For whatever reason Mourinho seemed to despise him and that fed through into the media. He isn't a Mourinho type player. They are rare these days it seems. But we've gone from a scenario where people believed Williams (a right footed player) could and should displace Shaw from left back, yet now Williams cant displace AWB at right back.

5-2 up in a semi final , with a game against Liverpool that could stop them getting top 4 and all but confirm a top 2 league finish with 4 games left. I can’t remember a more trivial gripe any one of us could have at any stage since SAF retired .... :pac:
