We have Dysons. I think they are terrible :(

I was going to buy the missus a Dyson for Christmas but she got wind and told me off because she loves her Henry so much :D

There's 9 built into our sitting room, so I knocked a third off that as being more normal because the guy who owned the house before that just loved adding sockets everywhere. There are 11 in our bedroom for some unknown reason. Sure the Hitachi wand only needs one.

In a non sex toy related comment ;) That's great, the more the better... I remember growing up in houses with SFA sockets that drove me demented... Sitting rooms should have at least 6 if not 8.

Seriously? I better not tell himself that. I didn’t even tell him how much it cost either!

Edit: you have more than one dyson?

If it makes you feel any better, we have a Dyson and I think it's great. It would want to be for that price!

Declan stays in the lead while staying still, but the lead has been reduced from 8 to just 6.

beakerjoe is making a last minute dash to try free himself from last position. nothing and beaker tied for last place, pickarooney and ASLB just 1 point ahead.

    Dyson hoovers are shít.

I've never owned one or seen one in action but James Dyson is a corrupt, hypocritical, greedy bastard. I hope he invents a hoover so powerful that it sucks him in and implodes.

I think sockets are scarce in older houses in general. My parents live in a decent area, nothing too fancy, where the houses were built in the 60s. Iirc there are only two sockets in each of the bedrooms, and in one they're right behind the only logical place you'd put a bed. There was absolutely no thought given to what people actually might want or need back then.

Yeah I think the suction is terrible. Now I have used in the past a Dyson that was fantastic, it was a tall upright thing and was very powerful.

One for upstairs and one for downstairs.

Yeah sure its the same in the house im in now which was built in the 70's and also in my parents home which would be the same. It seemed to be a case of lets hide these things away so no one can use them. Sure electricity, who needs that! lets read a book by candlelight
