Agreed. There are exceptions to every rule. That doesn't mean educated people are EQUALLY likely to commit crimes than people who live in poverty. Or that women are equally likely to be sexual abusers than men. There are trends in life, that don't explain every single thing, but describe a pattern.

Petty crime yes, but Is that the same with murder? How many murders committed in the last ten years in Ireland are attributed to people in poverty? My guess would be the minority.

My point is that there are certain trends/patterns that are obvious to anyone with half a brain. E.g. men and women are equal, but it's still fair to say men commit more violent crime, in the past, present and future. Doesn't mean ALL men this, or ALL women that.

Similarly NBA basketball tends to be dominated by people of a certain ethnicity. And terrorists in Europe tend to be motivated by radical Islam.
