29-04-2021 12:24pmI asked this question a few weeks back but couldn't purchase at the time - this TV was recommended (https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-204674-lg-50un81006lb-50-inch-4k-ultra-hd-hdr-smart-led-tv-freeview-hd-freesat-hd.aspx) but has gone up 50 euro in price putting it outside my budget (Max 550) for a 50 inch TV.
Could you recommend the current best option for a 50 inch?
Thanks!1

Very few 50" around the 500 Euro price point at the moment.
You could check out the Philips 50PUS7805 priced at 529 Euro
https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-204842-philips-50pus7805-50-inch-4k-ultra-hd-hdr-smart-led-tv-freeview-play.aspx
There are a few under 500 Euro but there are currently in store only collection, like the LG 50UN73006 priced at 459 Euro
https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-204697-lg-50un73006la-50-inch-4k-ultra-hd-hdr-smart-led-tv-freeview-hd-freesat-hd.aspx
Or the Samsung 50TU7020 priced at also at 459 Euro.

If there's a big jump in quality I could push for 600!
The quality of the 81006 is much better to the 73006.
It uses some different technology like true colour accuracy which help give a sharper more natural colour.
It has an extra HDMI port and has a centre stand instead of the feet at the edges.0 -

The 50UN80006 is not one that we have stocked so I'm not familiar with it unfortunately.
From doing a bit of research on it, it seems that the stands is the only noticeable difference that I can see between them.
They are both 50Hz and have turemotion 100 for processing.0 -
