Bombardier 250cc single cylinder 2 stroke engine

Hello folks

A friend of mine has a 1979 Bombardier 250cc single cylinder 2 stroke engine and he needs a clutch kit for it.

Can’t seem to find anything, I presume it’s a generic engine. Any idea where to look?

AFAIK they used Rotax engines in the 70's.

Might be worth registering on a Forum such as this one;

Otherwise just google "bombardier forums" and ask the same question on any sites that look promising.

Apologies. I forgot to look at the dates.
Definitely a Rotax 2 stroke engine though, so there should be info out there.

Yeah I was thinking it’s surely a common engine, I didn’t know the name of it though. Thanks, I’ll do some research with that.

Was that bike bought in Waterford around a year or so ago?
If so the lad that sold it would probably know.
