    1. Kyoto - ok I'm a hypocrite, purple on a flag *scoffs... I really think this orchid and yellow floral number is sweet :o
    2. Hyogo - not sure what this is but it is more interesting than the latter

    1) Kumamoto
    2) Osaka

    To tell you how close this was I originally had Hokkaido in first position.

    1. Osaka - is it an octopus? Is it an elaborate fidget spinner? Who cares, it's great.
    2. Hokkaido - Sapporo is on the island of Hokkaido, which is where they had the 1972 Winter Olympics, so I'm guessing that's a big snowflake of some sort. Even if it isn't, I like it.
    3. Kumamoto - love the background colour. If this was in another group it could possibly have gotten my number 1 vote.

    Osaka - striking, easy to identify your lot.
    Hokkaido - Pow Kazam
    Kumamoto - a tad dull

    Kumamoto - nice red background and simple, uncluttered logo.
    Hokkaido - nice, but not quite top of the lot as it reminds me too much of the UK flag.
    Osaka - blue background is nice, but logo doesn't do it for me, there's something trypophobic about it that's offputting.

    Overall, so far, the flags here are very nice - much more rich and striking than the usual flags you get.
