Hello all. I recently got a quote for pumped cavity wall insulation for a 15-year-old semi-detached bungalow.

I got a quote of €1400 for the job (excluding the €400 grant). The contractor told me it was high-quality insulation which is the same stuff he uses for new builds. When I calculate the area of the 3 walls that are to be pumped (minus windows and doors), the price comes at approximately €28/m2.

Does this price sound reasonable? From doing some searching online it appears prices are usually closer to €12-15/m2. I will likely get another quote to compare but wanted to know if people here have any info.

    Thanks.
