    I hadn't even considered that.

    We now either buy our own jets or allow the French to set up an airbase here.

    Heck, why not let Putin's lads set up shop here ? After all they fly over the west coast more than the French - so at least they know how to get here :p

    The French or the Russians, doesn't matter, as long as one of them sets up a base here to protect us from the imminent threat from the British and their impending war machine.

    They could strike at any moment.
