Exactly. Someone on Twitter pointed it out last week as well. It makes the attack move so much faster. Great movement by the attackers also

Only caught bits of the game today, what do people make of Tsimikas? Seems like a capable backup for Robo. Been impressed with his forward play but haven't seen much of him defensively.

That VVD double clearance from the Burnley corner on around 7 or 8 mins in the 2nd half was such a momentum swing.

The 20 or 25 minutes that followed that was brilliant attacking football from Liverpool that deserved more than the single goal it produced.

Nice to get rid of the mini-Burnley hoodoo at Anfield.

Two wins 5 goals all four forwards have scored no goals conceded and Matip, VVD & now Gomez have all gotten game time.

I can't over emphasise how great it is to have those CBs back.

Not only do they defend on the front foot, or in the case of VVD have so much pace that opposition are caught offside constantly trying to pinch yards, but that long diagonal is such a weapon, as is Matip's passing through the lines. Without those things, we find it to so hard.

And what a keeper we have. We deserved to concede with the sloppiness.

Burnley put in a shift but jesus christ listening to BT we were up against prime Guardiola's Barca and got away with one.

Tsimakas and Naby Lad our two best players imo.

Nature is healing the Mighty Reds are winning football games and are top of the league again :)

Brilliant player, rarely puts a foot wrong. If he were a bit younger and wasn't made of glass he'd be a €100m player. The one positive is that he never needs a few games to find his form after a spell out, he's up to speed right away.

I guess they meant they will not show the lines being drawn, that process, and only the end result. So there can be no crying about lines drawn incorrectly.

A front 4 at times today, but the positions have changed. Salah is holding width more now and it's now Trent that is occupying the inside forward position, from RB!

There were some examples of this from pre season too, so it must be a tactic to get Trent into space again so that he can play those killer passes more often.
