Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Endo struggling with the steps

What an effort from him today. Awesome.

Neville on Klopp "I can't wait until he leaves"🤣🤣

  • Registered Users Posts: 391 ✭✭bdmc16

To win that game with Quansh, Clark, McConnell , Elliot and Danns is remarkable. Against so many 100m pound players it’s a massive upset and it’s a mind boggling bottle job from Poch that will haunt him and Chelsea.

I really hope it’s just Grav we have to worry about as Diaz was limping alot at the end . Klopp is just a legend , VVD a true leader, Endo an absolute warrior , Kelleher exceptional special shoutout to Tsimi whose energy was vital in last 15mins

Grav in a boot and on crutches. It's not stopping him going up the steps.

So many huge huge performances. All the lads at the back, and Kelleher pulling off an absolutely world class performance - the sort of performance that would make you worry a lot less about him covering for the Man City game - what a surge of momentum he's carrying into this run without Alisson.

I really do just fcking love Endo... just an absolute rock in the middle, an oasis of total calm throughout, 120 minutes of near perfect decision making, even when bolstering a midfield with two kids. He made life easier for everyone around him.

    Just amazing.

i actually do not believe it. I had to walk away from the Sky Sports propoganda earlier. These are genuine quotes. "They are missing their so called big players" "they have won 6 out of 8 games without Salah" "Gapko has scored 4 goals, the last time a Liverpool player has scored 4 Goals in this competion is 2001 is Robbie Fowler.

So can I just say **** you sky sports, we never should have won this game against the billonaires, it's a pity you sacked that fuker martin tyler cos I'd love to hear his tears/ I reeally wish we had rested all our players because this cup

Come on....this is huge but this is Klopp we are talking about. His entire career has been one huge achievement after another....

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,440 ✭✭✭SM01

Lads and lassies, that was sweet!

    Kelleher was perfect. Allisonesque.

    VVD a magnificent Captain.

MacAllister and Endo were monsters in that midfield.

    The youngsters absolute stars!

    This team is the business.

Klopp and the backroom - words fail me!

I'd rather Peter Drury just left the poetry for his night classes.

Thought the injured lads would have joined them up there.

Nice for them all to have the stage tho.

Junior league game would have more pageantry, just a regular game like nothing on the line

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,520 ✭✭✭✭noodler

Hope the kids don't drink too much, they'll all be playing Wednesday!

You wanted 12 lads with hamstring injuries to walk up six flights of stairs?

Also so great for this new team to get the earliest possible silverwear.

  • Moderators, Education Moderators Posts: 9,648 Mod ✭✭✭✭mayordenis

Yea it does lessen the pressure a bit, just not for every game to be the be all and end all.

@TitianGerm can you imagine my range of emotions today 😂😂😂

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,799 ✭✭✭Ken Tucky

My first memory of supporting Liverpool was the league Cup replay 81

Was in tatters watching it. We won 2-1 v West Ham

The following 3 years we won it. My favourite was beating United as they had a league hex sign over us at that stage.

It's always been a competition that has worked for us.

Arsenal beating us in it after Rush scored was enough to put me in a mood for a month

I'm so happy and can't believe what I've witnessed

    Legends

I think the smart money is now to put €320 on the next game 😂

15m bid for Kelleher looks ridiculous now, double it!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,888 ✭✭✭hynesie08

I respect staying on the pitch for the fans, but let these lads have a pint for Christ's sake.

Dreamland. How have they done that?

    Genuinely lost for words.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,502 ✭✭✭Dick phelan

Whatever happens from here it has been an absolute privilege to watch this team and this manager. Almost all the regular starting 11 not available, nothing but basically kids on the bench, had a goal disallowed for no good reason and still pull it out of the bag. What an incredible team.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,790 ✭✭✭✭McDermotX

Most awkward Sky Sports pitch side interview ever now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,179 ✭✭✭✭Fitz*

    Kelleher

    VVD konate

    Endo

    MacAllister!!!

Diaz ran himself into the ground. Elliott too. Clark did a big 20. McConnell did a big 10.

    The ref!!!

What a win. Surprising, hilarious and glorious!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,710 ✭✭✭✭machiavellianme

Diaz isn't much of a spokesman in Spanish, he might as well try his luck with English.

Edit - he got going eventually. Kind of like his performance. Once he stops over thinking and just acts naturally, he's unstoppable.

Do not underestimate just how great Virgil was once all the kids came on.

Squeezed the pitch, owned his section and let the kids play it as safe as they needed to in the knowledge that the lads at the back could take the defensive load.

    Monumental.

Everyone of them player their lil socks off. Chelsea have no excuses.
