It's hilarious how Utd's goal was just given instantly no questions asked. Then Salah scores and they spend 2 mintutes checking everything they could possibly think of...maybe he was offside, maybe Salah handled it, maybe Gomez fouled Bruno...maybe maybe maybe....they're such trolls

What a captain-if there is one player that summarizes the difference between the clubs, it's him.

Very much in control here. A scrappy goal conceded in an open opening 15 minutes but we gained control shortly after. Could be further ahead really, half time comong at the right time for them.

I always say it, if you're gonna concede, concede early and not late.

Cool. It just genuinely looked really warped on my stream. Utd would have been in big trouble had we gone in drawing 1-1 but can't see anything but them getting smoked in the second half as we have been a second half team all season. Hopefully they just fall apart without hacking at our players tho

There's a way of being heard without acting as he does.

Unbelieveable that he is the captain of a club as massive as Manchester United.

Some of on their thread put little emphasis on the role of a captain but that's nonsense.

We had it with Gerrard, Henderson and now with VVD.

To have that petulance from your club captain is unbelievable.

The 2nd half is going to be a cracker. Would not surprise me to see both teams score again.

Also, Kelleher is a top keeper. He's good enough to be number one for most clubs in England.

Absolutely. Best result they've had against us in a while was the 0-0 earlier this season when he was suspended. He's a liability for them, more solid without him.

You'd swear Utd dominated the half the way Matterface and Dixon were banging on.

Utd were insanely intense for 20 minutes, then it was essentially all Liverpool with the odd mistake resulting in a counter.

Deserved lead.

All that being said, Mainoo looks a player. Puts his captain to absolute shame.

United did well going forward, but they are playing us on the break. They are so open in midfield and add in AWB gluing himself to Salah it means there are spaces open for us to exploit.
