Because the ref waved played on in a very advantageous position for WH as he should. Would have been a yellow for VVD if the ball hadn't of fell back to them I'd say.

He didn't acknowledge the inital foul on Diaz at all. It wasn't a play on call.

Not sure if he was looking for a pass there or if that was his shot attempt. Last offside from him 10 mins prior he skied a shot way off target too.

At least we're playing some 1-2s again, the players sometimes kind of look like they know each other

TBH....I think our short passing etc in general is found wanting, whether it's to the wrong foot of the receiver, overly cautious in execution, on the back foot etc......a far cry from Klopp's teams of the past. It's a huge factor in our inability to inject pace into our attacking game allowing even the most mediocre of opposition to regroup, make things difficult and limit our options in the final third.

Danny Murphy picked out Gapko as part of the problem for the goal for not even attempting to head it or be first to it and Robertson for just pointing the free man crossing and not going out to him. Hard to believe 340 passes to 86 and 76% possession and still look rubbish.

1 charge should be addressed before end of season, like Everton case was dealt with, and a 10pt deduction. same as last season should have had a 10pt deduction for another charge.
