Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Currently posting from the doghouse as I woke the baby celebrating that!!

Alisson you beauty. Delighted for him, after he's had such a very tough year.

He can have as many mad passes to the other team as he likes.

    What a ****ing header.

We've been given a gift and we've another bastard team to play against in Burnley during the week. We have to take this chance.

Happy days.... can't wait for it.

That goal is absolutely massive, it really puts the pressure on Chelsea and Leicester on Tuesday. Ideally Leicester win again, but, that's probably unlikely after yesterday, a draw would be good too. The worst result for us is a 1 goal Chelsea win, even if that happens two 1-0 wins for us would almost guarantee top 4 as it would mean Leicester would have to beat Spurs by 3 clear goals to deny us. So if Chelsea do beat Leicester ideally they would win by 2 or 3 goals to really hurt Leicester's goal difference.
It's in our hands now, we have momentum now and team morale must be sky high after the last 2 results, especially with the way we won today. It's hard to believe we've gotten ourselves into this position after such a terrible season and to think some were happy to write off the season 2 months ago, it shows in sport anything really can happen and to never give up until the end. Just need to keep it up for the next 2 games.

Ok, no Jota for the final two games so same front three.

Same CBs too. So will be a massive battle against Wood and co.

The fact Burnley were just hammered at home gives me some hope.

So... if we're level with Burnley in the 85th minute - who's going to put a fiver on Allissom to score?

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Look, what Alisson did was truly amazing, but the real MVP today is Liverpool’s chief graphic designer for having this one ready to go:

And the replies are obviously brilliant:

94 - Liverpool have recovered 94 points from losing positions in the Premier League under Jürgen Klopp; the most of any team in the competition since October 2015. Heart.

    According to OptaJoe.

Please no Shaq as sub. He adds nothing. There's a very outside chance he might unlock the defense, but give me Gini all day long as a sub.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,365 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

Watch Thiago at the final whistle.

Lost his mind with his celebration.

    Love it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,937 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Thiago over the last 8 games has shown his world class talent and he has controlled each game and between him and Fab in midfield Liverpool have won 6 and drawn 2.

Those 2 draws came from Thaigo being subbed off and Liverpool losing control of midfield.

Already dreading the Burnley game. Can't really change much with all the injuries.

At least I can enjoy Big Sam whinging right now.

And a salty Allardyce interview now. Days like these lads, days like these.

The fact Allardyce is so angry makes it even sweeter.

    Alot of this in thread.

I thought Shaq was good. He obviously put the ball out of play late on which was soul destroying.

But he was moving he ball much more quickly and accurately then alot of the players and was one of the few players playing the ball centrally.

I want more Shaq, not less.

Proven wrong within half an hour by Big Sam.

Now to see what happens on Tuesday.

One behind Chelsea and three behind Leicester with two games to go.

Chelsea with Leicester (H) and Villa (A)
Leicester with Chelsea (A) and Spurs (H)
Liverpool with Burnley (A) and Palace (H)

Just hearing Tyler's commentary on the goal the whole world loses their sh1t with a last second headed winner from a goalkeeper and he just is so monotone with the goalkeeper hit the goalkeeper scored.

Also, no idea what problem anyone has with the disallowed West Brom goal.

As clear an obstructing line of view as you'll see.

Just checked the score , as Monaghan lost i was hopeful liverpool would cheer me up. What a feckin way to end the game! Keepers always go up at the death but I've never actually seen one score.

I was convinced at the time that we got away with one and it was a terrible decision.

Having seen it again, it’s perfect refereeing. They got the call spot on.

    Exactly the same.

And Carragher knew it too. He, like me, thought we got away with it, but then after the replay he didn't want to sound biased. As usual. So over-compenasted.
