Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    A word for Trent's corner.

Even Samuel had to admit how good it was.

Thiago over the last 8 games has shown his world class talent and he has controlled each game and between him and Fab in midfield Liverpool have won 6 and drawn 2.

Those 2 draws came from Thaigo being subbed off and Liverpool losing control of midfield.

Who would have thunk it a run of games to get attuned and world class shows through

    Lost for words.

That's what I said. I've seen a million keepers go up for a corner at the end of a game, but I've never seen one score. Unbelievable.

    Alot of this in thread.

I thought Shaq was good. He obviously put the ball out of play late on which was soul destroying.

But he was moving he ball much more quickly and accurately then alot of the players and was one of the few players playing the ball centrally.

I want more Shaq, not less.

Oh dear. Well I hope u don't get what u want. Thiago was doing that. Shaq was dropping out making 2 yard passes. Having zero impact. He's a roll of a dice, rarely comes good. We deserve better. Bringing subs on his level tells a story about the strength in depth we lack. Look at the subs City, Chelsea, United, even Leicester have. We've a really good first 14 or 15, we need the strengthen.

I said it before and I will say it again after that game I would sign Pereira from them.

That one moment has changed this evening for me from not drinking and not watching MOTD, to drinking and watching MOTD.

Happy days.... can't wait for it.

Missed the goal as I had to bring the kids over to the neighbours to play. Was sitting out having a bottle and only checked the score at 90.

    Thought 'well **** Big Sam'.

Checked it 4 minutes later couldn't believe it.

Checked who scored and thought I'd been spiked.

Sunday game and MOTD gonna be watched but doubt I'll remember **** all.

Completely agree. A solid prospective Gini replacement.

You think you've seen everything in football and then Boom!

I might never be the same after that

If the VAR man had somehow found something objectionable in that goal I think I would be marching on Stockley Park now with an angry mob.

That is right up there with Origi's goal against Everton.

Oh right wires crossed, did Ali say it was Achterberg told him to go up for the corner at the end or have I that wrong

Suarez had his own late late show, fair play. Looks like he'll fire Atletico to title.

Wish we had him this season, we'd have won a few more for sure.

Yes he said no one said anything to him then John waved him up.

Phillips nearly took it off Allison's head!

So what's the best result come Chelsea v Leicester.
A draw will keep every team playing for a win on the final day if we beat Burnley.
That's my take on it..more options the better for us. Still could actually finish 3rd

As I watched it live I thought it was Nat who scored. Split second of utter delight replaced with an even bigger slice of utter delight when I realised from the celebration that it was actually Alisson!

A draw on Tuesday and both Leicester and Chelsea lose on the last day.

Then we win our two games and finish 3rd.

Sky need to retire Tyler if he can't lose his sh1t for that goal he is finally done as a commentator.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,497 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

Of the 6 goalkeepers to score in PL history, Alisson is the first to score a winning goal

Chelsea to lose, ideally by a few goals. Even a draw for Liverpool then takes us above them.

Also, I'd much prefer to see Leicester get into the CL.

It actually looks like the Ajayi pushed Philips out of the way leaving Allisson free to head the ball

A Leicester win is best. Means it's completely in our hands with two wins.

    A draw is good too.

A Chelsea win means it may come down to goal difference on final day, even if we win both our games.

I'd rather make it as easy as possible for us. Leicester win on Tuesday (ideally by 2 or 3!) and then we only need 4 points from the last two games.

    Tyler's commentary is truly awful.

I'm not talking about the often spoken about anti-Liverpool bias but just his total mediocrity.
Too often in games he's not focussed on what is happening but spends too much time talking about historical games or trying to have fireside chats with Gary Neville.
His reaction here is dull as if a goal had just been scored in 10th minute of game by a leading striker not the 95th minute of a game by a bloody goalkeeper.

Through bad planning today I had to drive when the match was on so listened on Newstalk and when Allison scored the commentator just lost the plot and screamed his head off with excitement and I nearly crashed the car. It was brilliant and the way sports commentary should be.

    Kelleher
    Kabak, Van Dijk, Matip, Gomez
    Milner, Henderson, Keita, Ox
    Jota

The treatment room just 1 short of a top team today.
