Gini Wijnaldum must have taken the ball further from the Burnley goal than their entire team combined. Every time he gets the ball in or near their box, he takes it back to the halfway line for a sideways pass.

People can go on about Phillips' ability and defensive skills all night but for me he plays with great heart and works his arse off an deserves a lot of credit.

Stepped up to the plate this season and people should stop expecting him to be as good as VVD as he is just a freak.

Very simple there, but such class from Trent... was passed the ball in a tricky situation, little turn and releases a lovely left footed pass to start a counter.

Need another goal, if they score one it’s squeaky bum time.

He has earned the right to be in that team next year.

His reading of the game is actually excellent as well. Steps into danger well, and has a knack for getting back onto the line in just the right spot at key moments.

I fail to see the logic in that decision. We need more home grown players.
