Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Klopp already said it has to be someone that can play 6 and 8 so interest in De Jong doesn't add up for me..

De Jong wouldn't be Klopps normal energetic hard working midfielder,

Especially with rumors of Jude next summer i think it makes sense to get a Gini like runner & physical presence

Is Thiago a particularly hard worker? I will admit I don't know enough about how De Jong plays to know where he will fit in, nor am I saying he is the answer, but Thiago is not the hardest pressing player we have. He does press but he is not the press monster that you get with some other players. I may be totally wrong though and I am happy to be corrected.

Thiago is not exactly a hard presser but he is no slouch either. He gets around the pitch a good bit and not afraid to put the work in, out tackles in etc. He himself has said that he's never ran as much in his career than at Liverpool.

The player that is to come in is primarily a stand in for Henderson, not Thiago. They will need to cover the ground on the right when Alexander-Arnold is caught out of position, Henderson doesn't have the legs for it anymore. If they can stand in for Fabinho on occasion that is a bonus as Henderson can also do that.

No your correct Thaigo isn't but he's the exception to the rul simply because of how magnificent he is in possession, The guys super intelligent off the ball as well, he's also brilliant at professional fouls without getting booked when he is done for pace

That Ramsay pic is an old one from July, he seemed to reupload it on his Instagram...

They are gone very quiet on what's happening with him...

Konrad Laimer RB Leipzig, Ruben Neves & Ismaël Bennacer AC Milan are 3 of the more realistic names we've been linked to over the last few months

    So, predicted lineups for today?

    I’m going with

    Alisson

    TAA Gomez VVD Tsimikas

    Fabinho Henderson Elliott

    Diaz Firmino Salah

Normally of course you’d have Robbo in there but it’s no harm that he’s reminded that he has very good competition for his place in the team after his performance against United. I’d drop a lot more than him if we actually had players fit to step in.

Yeah Laimer is 25 out of contract next year & described as a pressing monster, on paper sounds ideal

Offside rule would be a hell of a lot straight forward if they just used the line where the played feet are.

    Two assists for Firmino

That was a terrific header from Diaz. He had to generate a lot of power and get the direction right at the same time.

I, and others, were very critical of Bobby lately.

He's showing us so far today!

I think I prefer this to going behind in every game.

Good! Use your aggressive feelings, boys. Let the hate flow through you! Bournemouth... will die.

Attitude looks great, sharp passing and good movement. Opposition are poor but this is far more like last year than the other games
