Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Pickford racking up the saves. A lot straight at him though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,510 ✭✭✭tinpib

That move that led to Firmino's shot was good, quick passing, players making right decisions, plenty of determination. Was good to see.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,726 ✭✭✭✭McDermotX

    Almost suckered

Our corner approach is shocking against the rubbish of the PL

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,395 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Everton should have scored there. Was about a 6 on 2.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 909 ✭✭✭whatawaster81

Absolutely blessed. That was 4 on 1 and that 1 was Salah

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,798 ✭✭✭✭DrumSteve

    Fuckin hell.

Should have scored one of them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,503 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Mo Salah sprinting about 90 yards back to cover the counter attack. That’s world class in itself.

    Milner is getting roasted.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,041 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

Creating a lot of big big chances now

Christ, thank god Maupay is an atrocious finisher!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,510 ✭✭✭tinpib

Phew. The one forward in world football you want that chance falling to was Maupay.

    Milner is a liability.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,726 ✭✭✭✭McDermotX

Milner ghosted twice is as many minutes on the break

Got back well, but defending as a team is a basic requirement for everyone in this side

And there it is. Cmon VAR !!

    Great game of basketball this

It's going to be a long aul season for us

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,503 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Milner doesn’t belong on a football pitch anymore at this level, it’s harsh but true. He can’t offer us anything these days.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,041 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

Mad that it's still 0-0 - with the chances, it could easily be 2-3 at this stage!

  • Administrators Posts: 54,111 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

Milner again. Completely done at back post.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,503 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

And just as I posted about Milner, he’s been done again and it’s cost us now.

EDIT: He’s off, we’ve gotten away with one.

    Nice.....looks offside

  • Administrators Posts: 54,111 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

    Offside I think.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,614 ✭✭✭Damien360

I do not understand Klopps love of Milner. He has had his day in the sun, served well, thank him and send him on his way. There should be no place for sentiment in the team.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,305 ✭✭✭Widdensushi

    Well off

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,390 ✭✭✭✭TitianGerm

His knee is well ahead I think?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,726 ✭✭✭✭McDermotX

    He's miles off....what's the debate

Well off. Why do they show such garbage angles to try and make it look otherwise?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,798 ✭✭✭✭DrumSteve

    Wake up call that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,041 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

Why are they even talking about Milner's foot? His foot is behind the ball, so is totally irrelevent.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,791 ✭✭✭✭Charlie19

    That took far too long.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,929 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

High straight leg studs into Nunez ankle and nothing given.

That's a free on Nunez. Ref basically on top of it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,798 ✭✭✭✭DrumSteve

How is that not a foul on Nunez

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,489 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

I'd get Jota on the pitch, Nunez off.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,111 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

This Milner sub was absolutely nuts. I’m panicking any time the ball goes near him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,395 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Don’t understand this Milner sub. It’s definitely made us worse.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,726 ✭✭✭✭McDermotX

    Bloody hell Diaz

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,220 ✭✭✭davemckenna25

I'd say they were looking to see did it take a touch off Milners foot. If it had it would have been onside.

Maupay was obviously in an offside position.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,798 ✭✭✭✭DrumSteve

What the **** is Milner up to.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,979 ✭✭✭doc_17

Those two massive chances Everton had were from our attacks. When we lost it Milner had the chance to stop both of them and failed. He really shouldn’t be an option.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,390 ✭✭✭✭TitianGerm

Wonder is Jota good for 10 minutes? Swap him for Diaz here.

    Card for VVD. Well earned

  • Administrators Posts: 54,111 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

Oooof that could have been a red.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,798 ✭✭✭✭DrumSteve

    **** off Bobby

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,041 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

yeah, that'd be my change too. Another player actively getting into goalscoring positions.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,503 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Don’t suppose we could sub Milner back off?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,594 ✭✭✭kingshankly

That could easily have been a red

    That was a naughty one.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,510 ✭✭✭tinpib

Great news seeing Joel and Jota coming on. Hope Joel is back to first choice from Weds on.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,726 ✭✭✭✭McDermotX

    Walton talking sh1te as usual

In another match, VAR could easily step in and red that
