Fantastic to see some early 40s coming in. Even when older it gives hope to us that we won't be long waiting. Where are people in Dublin Bus-accessible North Kildare getting vaccinated? CityWest or Punchestown? I'd imagine I'll be waiting until Sunday / Monday for an appointment text (44).

Actually, kind of quick to see where posters are based given post history.... In my case, clearly Maynooth area. Cellbridge people going to Citywest anyway.

A 1976 friend of mine ddn't register until yesterday for whatever reason. He got an appointment this morning for PUC on Tuesday. From posts here from 40-44 group, and given the 1975s yesterday had City Hall appointments, I think there are 2 separate queues now in Cork city. it seems to me that the remaining 45-49s (including yours truly) are in a slow moving City Hall queue, while those registering now are in a fast moving PUC queue. C'est la vie.....

Does anyone have any idea how the vaccines are being allocated in relation to the age groups? I registered 2 weeks ago today, I'm 47, but I've heard nothing and nothing on portal. I can see that others my age and younger are being given appointments.

Im on the same boat... Joke....
I see others in Dublin younger than me getting their vaccine and for me nada

I live in kildare but my GP in Laois and I presumed I would be done in punchestown but am getting done in Portlaoise. About the same distance wise between both locations.

That may be less to do with the GP and more to do with the fact that they are now sending people to centres in neighbouring counties.

Sure how does the HSE know who your GP is?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,485 ✭✭✭harr

Sure how does the HSE know who your GP is?
Because you have to put that info in the portal when
    Registering.

Its your Eircode and slots available
Nothing to do with your GP if you are registered by age on the portal
You can add your gp surgery details when you register
Thats only so the HSE can inform them of your vaccinations

You don't have to put it in
You can leave that field blank/no gp if you want
