If Hamas can fire thousands of Iranian sponsored rockets into Israel and be totally defended if Israel happens to target those sites firing the rockets, then yes, it is Anti-Semite, and no matter how you try do change the subject it won't wash.

People who say Jews have no right to their own homeland and that any sponsored terror is justified, and condemn Israel for defending itself from this terror, are not compassionate towards their fellow man and ultimately children of God. If Hamas ceased to fire rockets, import artillery and instead act towards and talk peace for an extended period, peace would be forthcoming, and a key player in this peace would be America as they were in Northern Ireland under Clinton. PEACE is the answer, not rockets.

I’ve already explained I don’t support Hamas. I am critical of Israel’s policy in the West Bank which is de facto Apartheid. Does that make me an anti-Semite?

What makes you think that Net 'n Yahoo is up for jail time?

He has a Trumpian knack for avoiding such unpleasantness. Imagine the neck of someone suspected of personal involvement in the theft of nuclear weapons technology from the US bringing along a friend and benefactor (Arnon Milchan), against whom there is even stronger evidence, to hear him lecture the US Congress on, you guessed it, the dangers of nuclear proliferation. That’s the sort of character you’re dealing with. The scrotal epidermis of jockeys comes to mind.

Anyone suggest a good documentary / video to watch about the history of the various peace negotiations. I've listened to a lot of Chomsky, Finkelstein, Pappe et al they tend to refer to parts of the discussions, but nothing holistic. Thanks

Looks like Netanyahu is for the joy. No protection once he's ousted. No more using Israeli and Palestinian lives to deflect either.

Don't discount him yet, I wouldn't put anything past that man, he will say/do anything to stay in power. He is already echoing the Trump "Rigged election" claims.

I think we are going to see every extreme right wing leader use this, when they lose an election.

The I.D.F defenders will be along soon to tell you how she must have been throwing stones, or calling them names, or maybe she drew a nasty picture about them.

The I.D.F defenders will be along soon to tell you how she must have been throwing stones, or calling them names, or maybe she drew a nasty picture about them.

    From Haaretz
The IDF Spokesman Announces: Continue to Shoot Palestinian Children By Gideon Levy

"Israeli soldiers shoot children. Sometimes they wound them and sometimes they kill them. Sometimes the children wind up brain dead, sometimes disabled. Sometimes the children have thrown rocks at the soldiers, sometimes Molotov cocktails. Sometimes by chance they wind up in the middle of a confrontation. They almost never put the soldiers’ lives in danger.

Sometimes the soldiers intentionally shoot at the children, sometimes by mistake. Sometimes they aim at the children’s heads or the upper body, and sometimes they shoot in the air and miss, hitting the children in the head. That’s how it goes when a body is small.

Sometimes the soldiers shoot with the intent to kill, sometimes to punish. Sometimes they use regular bullets and sometimes rubber-coated bullets, sometimes from a distance, sometimes in an ambush, sometimes at close range. Sometimes they shoot out of fear, anger, frustration and a sense of having no other option, or a loss of control, sometimes in cold blood. The soldiers never see their victims afterward. If they saw what they caused, they might stop shooting.

Israeli soldiers are allowed to shoot children. Nobody punishes them for shooting children. When a Palestinian child is shot it’s not a story. There’s no difference between the blood of a small Palestinian child and the blood of a Palestinian adult. They’re both cheap. When a Jewish child is hurt, all of Israel shakes, when a Palestinian child is hurt, Israel yawns. "

For six months a boy named Abd el-Rahman Shatawi has been convalescing at the rehabilitation hospital in Beit Jala. For 10 days a relative of his, Mohammed Shatawi, has been at Hadassah University Hospital, Ein Karem, in Jerusalem. Both are from the village of Qaddum in the West Bank. Israeli soldiers shot them both in the head. They shot regular bullets from a great distance at Abd el-Rahman as he stood at the entrance to a friend’s home, they shot a rubber-coated bullet at Mohammed from a nearby hilltop as he tried to hide from them down the same hill. The army said he had set a tire on fire.

Abd el-Rahman is 10 and looks small for his age. Mohammed is 14 and looks older than he is. These are the children of the Palestinian reality, both hanging between life and death. Theirs and their parents’ lives have been destroyed. Abd el-Rahman’s father drives him home from Beit Jala to Qaddum once a week for a weekend in the village, Mohammed’s father doesn’t stray from the doorway of the neuro-intensive care unit at Hadassah Ein Karem, where he’s alone facing his son and his fate. Neither of these children should have been shot. Neither should have been shot in the head."

The standard of hasbara shown here is appalling . They don't know what they are talking about and with the "Rockets from the West Bank" post, not only the poster, but his/her own supporter is ignorant of situation. Content to reel off a few sentences they have picked up on some pro- Israel Facebook page they make no sense and really have no insight worthy of talking about.

Won't see them for a while, they usually hide for a few days when proof of the I.D.F committing war crimes is posted on thread.

This is what the US allows

In her bed in Gaza City’s Shifa hospital, 25-year-old Aya Aloul recalls the moment her 66-year-old father, Moeen, one of Gaza’s few neurologists, was killed in an Israeli strike, one of two key Palestinian medical staff killed within hours on Sunday.

Also killed in the same barrage was Dr Ayman Abu al-Auf, the Shifa hospital’s head of internal medicine and the head of its coronavirus response, who was also buried in rubble from a collapsing building in Gaza City’s al-Wehda Street on Sunday.

Yeah the pro Palestian brigade are quick to point out individual wrongs and there is always going to be a few in a volatile situation. I dont think for one second that there's an Israeli policy to shoot kids... I think Israel has a robust engagement policy. Thats not condoning a kid getting shot. I'm sure it ll be investigated.
There's still a huge hypocrisy in Ireland around the 'victim cult' perpetuated over the years and centred on Northern Ireland. The weak and badly armed ,badly led no matter how despicable their acts are ,are supported by the left and republicans. The strong well armed and well led..ie Israel will always be the 'baddie' no matter how much they try to avert casualties. Its childish stuff all viewed through an IRA /British army prism..If Israel has any sense they should properly annex the West Bank and if there's rockets 🚀fired from Gaza again they should level the place ...give 24 hours notice and level every building..

    Support 🇮🇱 Israel

Was listening to PMQs today while driving.

Starmer used the phrases 'people of Palestine' 'occupied areas' 'illegal settlements' He talked about moving towards a internationally recognized sovereign state of Palestine.

Nice to hear him using the correct terminology at least. No doubt all the pro israel astroturfers will be putting pressure on him to recant.

Advocating war crimes cant really be discussed civilly, by their nature. Dont post in this thread again.

So once Israel annexed the entire West Bank what would happen to the people there? Would they all be considered Israeli citizens? Are you really thinking this through?

Of course this would be "terrorism" if it was the other way round

The outgoing head of Israel’s foreign intelligence agency, the Mossad, has signalled the country’s clear responsibility for a series of attacks targeting Iran’s nuclear programme in an interview that appeared to have as much to do with Israel’s febrile politics as with Iran.

In a public intervention that appeared timed to help Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, before a Knesset vote on Sunday that could end his 12 consecutive years in office, the agency’s former head Yossi Cohenrevealed details of operations long attributed to Israel.
Those included the assassination of the top Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh and an explosion at an underground centrifuge hall in Natanz.

The interview also appeared to deliver a warning to other scientists in Iran’s nuclear programme they too could become targets for assassination even as diplomats in Vienna try to negotiate terms to salvage its atomic accord with world powers.

    Who?

The International Criminal Court perhaps, but given Israel doesn't recognise its authority, they wouldn't care what they say on the matter.
