There's been a serious rise in far right religious Zionism in Israel on recent years. The Religious Zionist Party won its most seats ever in the recent elections. I am an Israeli apologist and the video of a man being kicked on the ground sickens me. Nobody anywhere defends mob violence. The people who did that are cowardly thugs. I don't know the context but taken on its own merits it is indefensible.

The Yanks have ok'd the attacks so BiBi will plough on with the missiles.

When some jews get massacred in another country just remember whats causing individuals to attack synagogues in the first place. Even if the Jewish people wipe out all the palistinians and claim all the land it won't be forgotten.

Outside of the current escalation there needs to be a broad strategic move from Israel. I can see them expelling the Arab population from East Jerusalem at some point. The UN will kick up blue murder but they are biased anyway. Maybe a deal can be struck with Jordan to take them in return for massive money. The could have done it in 67 and it might actually have saved alot of hassle. Equally the Israeli Arab population which is relatively integrated is getting exercised now and thats a big issue. Is there going to be segregation in towns like Lod,Acre and Tiberius.
The arabs in Gaza have nothing to lose...locked in and governed by Hamas..they are in a disastrous situation. Their main courses of retaliation seem to be wasting money on rockets and having tonnes of kids they can't safely bring up. Hard to see a future there for anyone. Incidently iv a holiday booked for Israel coming up in a few months...I always have a great time there visiting friends I met back packing years ago but I dont fancy a rocket landing in my hire car either. I will go though.. its important to support Israel

It's absolutely chilling and stomach churning. Reminds me of one of the most brutal episodes up North when two British soldiers out of uniform made the mistake of driving a car in the vicinty of a Republican funeral.

The definition originally posted is from the Chambers English Dictionary, a standard agreed on by language experts.

If I converted to Judaism I could move to Israel in the morning, get full citizenship and make claims to land owned by Palestinians based on biblical references and Israeli law would fully support me. There's no both-sidesing that.
