UCD alternative grading scale

Anyone else notice that this year UCD brought in a new grading scale? The school of Economics are using it and I think Law and Business schools are using it too. It is now much harder to get a 2.1 as you need 70% for a B- I don't know if Science/Engineering schools use it.…
