Do you have to pay VAT after receiving Stripe payouts?

Hi, Just wondering, after speaking to Stripe, does Stripe automatically handle VAT for you or do you have to get an accountant to sort it yourself? Thanks

I recently set up Stripe to take payments for my GAA club. Have just received our first payout, and the statement shows that Stripe took VAT on top of the regular transaction fees. Presume the same would apply in a business scenario. Hope this helps.

Stripe will only charge you VAT on there transaction fee, it is up to the seller to account for Tax and VAT on there sales
