I don't get the relevance to be honest.
Some organisations pay, and some don't.

The State have a policy of not paying a ransom and there's no leaks or information coming from anywhere to say that they did. Paying in this case is pointless.

They are trying to show 'good faith' by showing that it could be recovered and that it is them. The real threat is still there that's publishing all or selected data that they still have to sell.

There is no incentive to pay and the government have stated for the record that they have not and will not pay a ransom.

yes because they were paid a sum of money, but they are holding out for more, it's pretty obvious for all to see.

You are claiming there is a conspiracy whereby the Irish government paid the ransom but have not told us?
Regardless of it being correct right now it is simply a theory which you cannot backup with any evidence or facts therefore it is a conspiracy theory making you a conspiracy theorist.

The key provided has flaws and bugs so not a full change of heart.

All parties involved insist that no ransom has or will be paid by the Government, that no money has changed hands and that no agency, representative, or private individual, directly or by proxy has or will pay any ransom and that none will be paid and disguised in the fees paid to a commercial company.

There is absolutely no reason to disbelieve this.

The HSE, government and RTE have continued to mislead the public on this from day 1

The question should be why anyone would actually believe a word they are saying?
If anything the current government have been caught on a regular basis not telling the truth, what would suggest they are telling the truth now?

Personally I think we went to our American friends and asked who would have the capability to push this, which resulted in someone in Russia getting a clip around the ear for bringing attention to themselves. Which is how we got the decryption key.

Or some application/system starts throwing errors and someone happens to be quick enough to spot it and turn it off.

There's a reason they tend to kick these things off in early hours.
