Bielsa said that the intention is for Casilla to play. Unless you can get Alisson I probably wouldn’t use a transfer to add a keeper to that BB.

Would like to get a City midfielder in but unless there is some solid team news think it might be too risky.

Could go Mane but then i'd potentially have 3 Leeds and 3 Liverpool which is a bit of a risk also!

16 points behind and rattling my mind how to close the gap. 5 mil in the bank

Obvious one is dcl out and Bamford or kun in and captain

The left field idea I'm looking at captaining a defender if they keep a clean sheet the gap is 4 points. We both have Shaw and Phillips the two difference is Chilwell and cancelo to my holding and dallas.

Double up with liverpool and get Robbo or TAA in? Or Dallas captain and bring in one of the above and not captain

Rashford to Mahrez my only transfer.

Winning both money leagues by over 200 pts so nothing to worry about :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,318 ✭✭✭893bet

Kane to firmino. Bobby is a big game player. And this is a huge game. Only worry is pool score early and protect that rather than trying to win 3-0.

If you're looking to captain a defender to bridge that 16 point gap then Dallas would seem a good punt. Leeds have had 4 clean sheets from their last 5 games and Broms playmaker Pereria might be injured, we should hear by tomorrow if he will start as he has a fitness test this moring

I was going to captain TAA but Dallas is an interesting shout as I'm also chasing, I'm now tempted to

I think they are both good shouts for captain if you are chasing but Dallas edges it for me as he tends to get deep inside the box a fair bit more than Trent. Trent is on free kicks but Im not sure if he has even scored one this season, Ive seen him hit the target a few times but it was always saved.

The stats this season say Trent for assists, Dallas for goals
    TAA 2 goals 8 assists
    Dallas 8 goals 3 assists

Its still an outside bet if either of them score but if they did and kept a clean sheet it would rack up 24 points as a captain pick. An assist+clean sheet would land 18

I’d say he will be on the bench at best. Salah, Mane and Firmino might have been ahead of him even if he had properly trained since Burnley.

CSF how do you see the Villa Chelsea game going? Few people saying Chelsea will see through the win to secure CL but Villa looked decent enough against an admittedly awful Spurs. If its an open game it could be pretty interesting

Son to Grealish has lodged as an idea in my brain?

8.7 to spend on a midfielder

-4 DCL, Richarlison and Bruno to Bamford, Antonio and Salah. Let's go

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,769 ✭✭✭✭extra gravy

Is Digne & DCL to Dallas & Bamford worth a hit? In a normal week, I'd have no reservations doing it but I'm about 100 places away from top 100k now, will be a bit sickened if I don't make it.

Everton have been good defensively away from home and they have something to play for. How will City line up? Hard to say, but it's rare enough they fail to score at home, and will have fans in the stadium, + the Sergio factor (they'll want him to score). Dallas is a great pick CS and attacking potential, I don't have him I'm hoping somehow Struijk can match him :o

I think I would do it because it is a positive move to two in form players over two players where you dont really know what you are going to get especially away to a City team doing a victory lap.

Whether or not the -4 points get repaid is a bit of a coin toss on Dallas keeping a clean sheet and hopefully Bamford scoring. But I would back Dallas and Bamford to outscore DCL and Digne. DCL can score in any game but in this one he is likely to be up against Ruben Dias who is a monster in the air and tends to win any high balls into the box, its his bread and butter which isnt good news for DCL.

How many points off 100k are you?

Will Dias play though? Gundogan went off injured in the last game, last thing pep wants is for Dias to get injury in a nothing match - could be likes of Ake, Garcia in defence - especially as Garcia is probably leaving at end of this season.

    Nat Phillips ---> Cresswell
    Rashford ---> Mané
    Kane ---> Bamford

    (-8)

Miles ahead in my money league so can afford a little spending spree.

Only a point away. My other defensive options to start are Castagne and Konsa, don't fancy playing either. I could just do Digne to Dallas and play DCL and hope it's a weak cb pairing from City. But DCL hasn't looked great recently either. Will leave it as late as possible tomorrow anyway to see if we get any team news.

He should do as Llorente and Koch are both ruled out. Should be Cooper-Struijk at CB

Yeah Ive Castagne and Targett and they'll be staying firmly on the bench. I think Castagne cant get forward now that Evans has been injured.

If Dias doesnt start tomorrow then that is good news for DCL. Like yourself I'll be waiting till the last moment to see if there is any team news. If I knew Torres or Mahrez were starting Id be tempted to go there. But the problem is any leak is going to be on Twitter which is where also sad trolls will be publishing fake team line up claiming they are in the know. It will be hard to know what to believe at 2.30pm, it would be easy enough to get tricked into a transfer and then at 3pm find out the player isnt starting.

I’d say they will probably beat us but not with the kind of certainty that makes their players look like great shout.

We looked on Wednesday with Grealish back, like the Villa team that we were in 2020 with Grealish fit. Creating lots of attacks and not being that leaky with the amount we give the opposition.

Still, with Chelsea needing the win so bad, I feel like their hunger will get them by.

That is luxurious fpl extravagance. The hard work done and now showing the fair stuff.

Nothing fancy from me at JWP at push. Just feel he can do something v West Ham set pieces etc.

I got in TAA as well and I am very tempted to captain him.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

Yeah I thought they looked pretty decent against Spurs and definitely created more chances with Grealish running things. Will be an interesting game as you'd expect Villa to get at them at times. Chelsea can be upset as Arsenal showed recently

I’m certainly hoping for that, but you know how it often goes when a team desperately needs a win and the other team isn’t playing for anything specific,

I'm 16pts behind too! Will you be taking a -4 hit? My instinct says Mane and Bamford in, for Son and DCL, but 20pts is asking a lot. Maybe I'll leave Bamford, stick with DCL and hope he proves to be a differential.

Mane captain prob the safest option for chasing pts. Think I'll stick with him. Would kill me to see TAA or Dallas concede an early goal, although they are great options.

Think DCL will do well tomorrow to take him out for bamford is a -4 for me definetly not worth it as DCL will be better away from home and bamford mightnt last 90 mins

I think City will go strong tomorrow given it’s a full week before CL final and that makes them a bad prospect for any attacking opponents.

DCL will be my 1st sub so it will come down to what the news is on Bruno (I reckon we’ll get leaks before 2:30 given that it’s likely to be a noteworthy lineup)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,891 ✭✭✭✭Ace2007

I hope we do get some reliable leaks,

Doubts on Bruno for obvious reasons, Bale being bench midweek big surprise - is he already on holidays?

4 points head of rival, 3 players the same, tempted to do take a -4 to bring in Dallas and Bamford as blockers, and hope that some other players can get me over the line - make it a potentially 6 player shootout. He has likes of Jota/Greenwood/Keane/Gundogan and 2 FT as well - hard to know what he does - maybe brings in Raphinha.

Let's hope the FF site doesn't crash tomorrow at 14:26

I'm hoping Bale was benched because he's not able for 3 games in a week. Hopefully he will start but don't expect much from him, he only seems good against poorer teams at home.

Try keep an eye out for 'Aguero media duty' around the deadline tomorrow. If he is on media duty, he is starting.

There's that doubt over his fitness that would stop me getting him in & captaining him.

Yeah, i think it's too much of a risk unless you are miles ahead or chasing.

At best he starts and maybe gets 60 mins (which could be plenty to do damage) i reckon as Pep won't want to run too much of a risk of injury before UCL.

Help me out, Bamford or Antonio?

Considering two chasing rivals at top of ML have Antonio, and its a slender gap. I am assuming it would be madness not to match up with Antonio, rather than chancing Bamford?

Ye tough in a straight shoot out I'd go bamford, but ye tactically prob best play it boring,
Can't decide now whether keep bruno or sell for Kane for a hit and as a blocker too

Just worried about his minutes. Bielsa is not sentimental regarding performance. He'll have no bother whipping off Bamford on 58 mins if he's not doing the business, which would be catastrophic.

Plus a result for West Ham means 6th and Europa league which is massive for them. I think Leeds are more likely to be already on the beach.

Antonio for me, he needs 2 goals to be West Ham's all time time premier league goalscorer and the possibility of Europa league

Sure one more hit won't make any difference at this stage will it ;-)

Bruno and Son out for Mane and Willock.
