I don't play golf but de chambeau has the most awkward swing I've seen in a pro on TV. His follow through on swings and even putts looks so unnatural and all over the shop. Looks like a first timer. Hardly a coached thing?

    It's a swing he's built for power.

The putting looks terrible but he's a decent putter and it works, style may be banned in the future though.

It went from 5 shot lead to 2 pretty quick ! Let’s see how Phil respond

He has made it efficient but it is absolutely horrible imo.

    Phil starting to implode!

Love his honesty there though. If that was Bryson he’d be arguing the toss that it crossed up 200 yards from the tee.

Louis and Phil hitting the water there, this will throw it open.

How could a style be banned?

How could a style be banned?

Because he anchors the putter up his arm.

How could a style be banned?

They could just ban the arm lock, same as they banned anchoring.

I'd love to see big Phil win this.

The putter is anchored to his forearm..should be banned.

    Phil starting to implode!

Well you are certainly willing it.

Give the guy a bit of respect.

No way Oosthizen's ball crossed the hazard there..should have reteed like Phil.

    Who decided that it did?!

    Just Louis?

Shano and Pádraig could be teeing it up together on Sunday, the 2 lads.

Seems like it...at least Phil erred on the side of honesty.

Phil said to Louis his crossed after the shot. Bull**** drop neither crossed. Imagine if it was P Reed

What constitutes it crossing the hazard? Crossing over land?

Think it may have if that's the case although difficult to see from the angles provided.

    The red hazard line.

That was such a class shot from Phil, then he was stood still over the putt for an age with a twitch and you knew he'd miss.

He's playing so well though, incredible.

Byrne was working with him while his caddy was back home in SA. Covid complications and all that at the time. Think he's just back with his normal caddy now.
