What are Kenmare, Skibbereen, Clonakilty and Killarney like to live in?

    I'm trying to find out more about these places (outside of the usually badly designed websites which boast about how great the place is).


    I've heard a lot of great things about Skibbereen, and it seems to tick all the boxes for me. I'm really into the arty scene, markets, pagan shop + it's close to sea with nice landscapes for hiking. :pac:

    Also, unfortunately, it's mission impossible to find a place to rent there.


    So I'm also considering Kenmare, Clonakilty and possibly Killarney? What are these places like? I visited all three briefly but can't really speak for the local mentality and scene not having lived there.
