    In the uk the traveller paddy Doherty runs the site he lives in.
    No other traveler gets to move into that site unless they get paddys approval.
    That site is pristine . I'm sure he charges them a rent for protection on same site.
    The problem with a lot of the council owned sites in Ireland is that there are a lot of scum living in those sites that dont care what condition they live in .
    As with the settled community , there are bad travellers and some that just want to live in clean properties.

    Having a bit of pride in your area and getting up off your arse to help yourself is an alien concept to this crowd.
    Why you bother anyway, knowing the state will come running to get you out of the ****..literally, when you've grown up having everything handed to you, (this doesn't just apply to travellers) no questions asked for fear of being labelled racist.
    You'd have a pain in your face with it. New vans, huge weddings and all the rest and the average Joe working his bollix off to pay for his own and theirs... Give me a break..
