Guys Im looking for a decent projector for the garden for movies/sports. Budget is up to 800. It will be also used in the daytime so some help and advice on this would also be welcomed!

    Hi wingnut32,

    Thanks for the post!

Most of our projectors would mainly be for home cinema settings so the brightness would not be sufficient to contend with daylight.

Are you hoping to keep the projector outside as well as the changes in temperature can cause condensation inside the lens and affect the quality of the projector.

Let me know and I can see if there is anything out there but I would not recommend using a home cinema projector in a garden setting.

    Kind regards

    David

David, we would only be using it out in the garden here and there. It would not be a permanent fixture! Couple of weekends for movies, euros coming up etc

Thanks for getting back to me wingnut32!

The only one I would have available around that budget would be the Benq TH671ST short throw projector. It's designed more for gaming though and the brightness is only rated at 3000. I would recommend something like the Optoma UHD38 which has much better brightness at 4000 however you are looking at 1249 euro and we are out of stock of them at the moment but hoping to receive more:

Let me know what you think of this option!

    Kind regards
