That says it all, really! :pac:

Hahaha, jokes aside, it was great fun!!
Haddaway also played, I think Corona, La Bouche and the lady that sang Mr Vain.
There were 10 or 12 different artists and everyone played for 15-20 minutes, so lots of big hits!!

    Gala 4th, YAY!!!!

Hadn't realise how popular this song was here in Ireland. It was a very big hit in Greece too, and I love her whole album!!

no worries, it's close enough anyway. great song :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,835 ✭✭✭ari101

Thanks Shane for doing this, and to Homer for his invaluable commentary, a great Saturday night in! :D

First Loser up for my fav is fine by me (see earlier Dowager Countess of Grantham for my feelings on the subject ;))

A good winner. I would have preferred Haddaway but Rhythm is a Dancer is a great dancefloor anthem

Shane, this was a great game, thank you for organsing!!!

The rhythm here has got me tonight, thank you all

    A worthy winner.

Great reveal Shane, and an immensely fun game, even if its not one of my more preferred genres.

Now someone do a Country version! :pac:

Well at least I voted 10 for the winning song! Thanks Shane U. A lot of work went into that. Really enjoyed listening to the songs again..

Well done Shane, that was a mammoth undertaking and a wonderful reveal. Thank you for an entertaining evening, I hope my ramblings helped out somewhat! :p

Incidentally I've had my own 90's playlist playing this evening and Haddaway just happened to come on right now. Have to go check if Rhythm is a Dancer is on it, and add it if it's not already on there. :D

Thanks Shane, great reveal. Homer, your comments made me laugh out loud!

Great winning song... But it has proven something once and for all. Whigfield Saturday Night is so much better than the Macarena!

Also thanks to Necro for post of the night. This song does not get enough love!

It actually took me a few moments to realise you meant country music here, not my initial thought which was that you were asking us to rank countries of the world from 0 to 10, which could get rather controversial/xenophobic pretty quickly!

Weren't you willing to pick a side of Dublin :p

I didn't realize there were so many songs that I liked out of the list.

with 67 songs, I thought there would be a good few I wouldn't like.

but I think most of them got a thumbs up from me.

thanks again Shane, that was a very enjoyable evening listening to them all again :)

    And I picked the wrong one, didn't I? :(

(I just happen to live on the southside, if I lived on the northside I'd have gone with that)

Oh you are a silly Homer, of course I meant Country Music...

Speaking of Music though, when can we expect your next Walrus? I believe you're up next.
