Just wondering if any of you can advise of a family friendly hotel for young kids...... Or self catering with hotel facilities. We would like to be near a beach if possible

Anywhere, we haven't seen much of mayo at all. So if we are near a beach we are happy

Hotel in Mulranny:

They have apartments on site and it is literally across the road from the beach.

Alternatively, there is a load of hotels in Westport, not sure of self catering accommodation, but it's a lovely town and a short drive to the beach.

Also, Breaffy House just outside of Castlebar, AFAIK have self catering accommodation and kid friendly. Couple of miles from town and then it would be a drive to beach either Westport/Louisberg or go to Mulranny/Achill.

Ocean Sands, Ennsicrone has self catering apartments in the hotel grounds, right on the beach. Technically Sligo but in reality its the Mayo Riviera
