Yikes...not sure what to say here. I tried to like this but it did not happen. I thought I was listening to an alternative Dirty Dancing soundtrack at the beginning, would have fared better if I was. Then this psychedelic music kicked in and I didn’t have any tokes at hand. What is this, I have no clue. I’m sure it works for some folk. I must say they look kind of cute but I just can’t listen to any more of this. Please someone explain it to me and what I’m not seeing.

Evanescence and The Pretty Reckless would of done well with me.

Well I’m not even sorry about this. Yes it is cheesy as hell but I’ve loved this song since I first heard it years ago. This is a re-released version of it but stays true to the original. I hate country music, is this country, I don’t know, I guess but to me it’s still poppy. I don’t listen to her much but I just gobble up everything Taytay. She does have a good voice no doubt and this one has really catchy lyrics and music. I have nothing more to explain, exceptional choice.

I don't like using her originals these days cos of the dispute over her masters.

I think I actually prefer the newer version?

After 2 wooden spoons on the bounce, Necro takes top spot in the Female vice round. CeeJay extends their lead at the top with a strong outing from Levar moving him into second place. Seph and Stu are tied for third. At the other end of the table, EN continues to break Walrus records.

Thanks for following, hoping to run the final 2 rounds at the weekend.

I thought we were sticking together Necro? I feel so betrayed :p

I've got reverse Stockholm Syndrome with Taylor Swift - my daughter listens to it all the time so I grew to kind of like it but have gone past that and can't stand it again now :D

I do really admire the way she's rerecording them to make the old versions worthless (or worth less)

    My rating: ★★★☆☆

This is grunge which I’m not really into. It does remind me though a bit like Guns ‘n Roses at times so it’s not all bad. I do like the music here but I don’t really like the song especially the chorus. Nice guitar solo. Not a fan of the singer’s voice either. Never heard this band before, this is a new record by them. I can’t see me digging up their previous albums, don’t like the girl’s voice, a former actress apparently. I give it an average rating as musically I like the song. Not a great pick unfortunately, unlucky.

I almost entered this song too

Taylor Momsen from the film How the Grinch Stole Christmas and tv series Gossip Girl, lead singer

I'm opening the betting for Amy Lee winning this, My Immortal. PM me for odds and to place bets, Revolut only.

The continuity of my reveals leave a lot to be desired. I was likely referring to a previous round when writing that, Bring me to life won the Debut category.

If My Immortal had of been nominated here, it would most likely have won the category.
