It was the way that St Andrew was crucified. I dont think the scots went in for crucifixion.

Who doesn’t like a good ol’ crucifixion partayyyy?

Scotland As I said first round, Bedfordshire is striking on first glance but hurts the eyes if looked at too long. Scotland is boring, but at least it's not painful.

Bedfordshire is like one of those optical illusions that moves the longer you look at it. So I’m going to vote for it for that lunacy alone

Bedfordshire. There was definitely drugs involved in the creation of that one

But, like others have mentioned, I was intrigued by shells and waves on an inland county. According to Wiki, the waves represent the River Great Ouse and the shells come from the design of the Duke of Bedford. Which isn't very satisfactory as it still doesn't explain why the Duke of Bedford has shells on its coat of arms.

I knew I remembered someone giving an explanation to the towel

    Agree; two crackers.

I like the star thingy. But the more I look at them, the more I'm inclined to change my mind; the bit of red and the silhouetted chains makes the Black Country stand out.

I might change my mind before the end of the 20 minutes - but for now it's a vote for the Black Country

Sutherland the overlaid saltire and nordic cross trump the chains of manufacturing

Gloucs looks a little washed out with those pale colours. Anglesey - colours work well together, interesting design plus dragons.

There is just something about the colour scheme that really works and makes it really pleasing on the eye.. enough animals have gone through..
